Easy Ways to Lose Weight (pt. 3)
And we’re back (or at least I’m back…lol) with part 3 of 3 of the “Ways to Lose Weight” mini series. I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips…if so, subscribe via email so you can stay updated and comment on a daily basis! 17. don’t eat too late
Well it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be (to eat late)…but eating large meals after dinner can lead to excess weight gain due to metabolism slowing at night…try a light snack under 250 calories…mmmk?
18. eat a mint or chew gum when done
If you freshen your breath after mealtime, your brain will know that it’s done eating; the benefit? You’ll stop reaching for more and be satisfied in your dinner.
19. screw the scale
You already know that body weight isn’t everything and that muscle weighs more than fat…so why not do-away with the scale? Sure there are times when you’re curious…but weight is nothing.
20. cook more than you eat
If you’ve just created a healthy masterpiece, why not create more? By storing the excess food in the freezer and grabbing it later, you’ll save yourself from reaching for not so healthy snacks.
21. be a smart snacker
Snacking is good in the sense that it keeps your metabolism burning, but in the same note, don’t reach for the wrong things…be smart about what you put into your body: at ALL times.
22. eat with the other hand
Right handed? Eat left handed…seriously. You’ll slow down and focus more on the sensation of eating…enjoying the meal more and creating a willingness to eat less…freeaky.
23. try walking instead
You’ll actually burn 4 percent more calories on a same-distanced walk as compared to running…and it’s easier too; just get outside, walk, and enjoy the scenery for elongated health.
24. be OK with being hungry
Embrace your hunger and don’t eat until your stomach starts talking back AKA growling…you’ll learn that you only need to eat when you feel hungry…not every time a cheesesteak sounds good.
25. make it spiiicy
Adding some cayenne pepper to your meals can actually increase blood-flow circulation and speed up your metabolism, allowing you to burn your meal quick and more efficiently.
Wow! What a journey…but all good things must come to an end. Hope you enjoyed the series. Comments, comments, comments welcome.
