Weight Loss Mistakes We All Make

Tons of people are head-first into watching fat and calorie contents in the foods eaten and exercising on a regular basis. Weight loss is basic…but there’s more to the two things people think are the only necessities.

The truth is, there are some things most of us aren’t doing that are seriously hindering the ability to lose those final stubborn pounds and pack on the muscle we think we can only dream of. These simple tips will help you turn the tables:

2) Eating less packaged and processed foods; it’s true that some fast foods are healthy, but preparing foods from scratch and eating fresh is irreplaceable. You’ll get more fiber and nutrients by eating fresh foods and fruits and vegetables.

3) Drink fewer sports drinks; instead, drink more water for maximum results. Water has so many benefits that I can’t take the time to list them all right now. A few benefits of drinking more water are toxin elimination, nutrient transport, and fat burning ability.

4) Eat slower; pace yourself. Don’t eat your food too fast because you won’t fill up and you’ll hurt your body’s natural digestion capability. Chewing food more and pacing consumption reaps the rewards of faster metabolism and more efficient food processing.

5) Eat enough and often; starving yourself releases cortisol and puts the body through so much stress that fat is actually produced in desperation. Eating often keeps metabolism boosted and doesn’t let your body store too much fat.

Smart health isn’t a one time thing…it’s a day-by-day process; so keep at it.
