How You’ll Like Yourself: Exercise
It doesn’t matter how old you are…if you’re exercising, then you’re probably making your life better and longer; and who doesn’t want that now huhhhh?
The weird part about the above statement is that everybody knows it but only about like 6% do it. It wasn’t too long ago where most of us could wake up and put an all-in wager on doing some form of physical activity…but now with the luxury of technology, who knows. Now that we can push a button and give our robot-vacs a slap in the ass in the morning and have the whole house cleaned for us it’s a bit of a mystery.
Now that technology is so available, previous luxuries of watching television, surfing the net, or gaming have become standards and taken the the place of physical exercise. Just ask your kids if you have them…
“Wanna play catch? Or do you wanna play Madden video-game football?”
“Madden.”
So it seems like few are actually moving or shaking enough…which means that extra 30-minute exercise window is actually being thrown right OUT the window…great; so positive here.
Does it actually make a difference if we exercise or not? I can just eat good instead right? Wrong. Study upon study says that regular exercise lowers your risk for some of the worst ailments of all time and reduces pain, helps you live longer, and makes you feel better.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to spend a fortune of money or time to really get started. You don’t need 6 hours a day and a $6000 home-gym…just get outside and get started. Give yourself 30 minutes a day starting with a short walk or jog. Practice consistency and then look back in 6 months in awe…you’ll be amazed.
